Rovio is preparing the launch of a whole new Angry Birds Seasons update called Angry Birds Moon Festival. The new update is expected to be released sometime in September, to coincide with the Moon Festival. Chinese Angry Birds fanatics will be treated to an early release of the game, while the rest of the world will receive the update later.

Angry Birds Moon Festival is a Chinese themed Angry Birds level pack that celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. The new update to Angry Birds Seasons, will be a free update and will pack 30 new levels filled with pagodas, rabbits, and red lanterns. Gamers can collect eight hidden pieces of mooncake and will enjoy a bonus level.
In addition, this update will see the introduction of the Mighty Eagle to Angry Birds Seasons. The Mighty Eagle will be in a one-time in-app purchase (0.99 USD). Players are able to use the Mighty Eagle to unleash devastation on any level and even unlock the next level.
