Peter Vesterbacka, CEO of Rovio, recently announced that the smash hit Angry Birds is now being downloaded over 1 million times a day. Who would have thought there were that many smart phones out there?! This figure, in all likelihood, includes all versions of Angry Birds across all platforms.
Vesterbacka made this announcement at Mobile 2.0 Europe openIDEAS Conference.
This news has no doubt made potential investors salivate at the chance at possibly investing in Rovio as the company solidifies plans for an initial public offering.
